Very good blog on one of my favorite movies when I was young. It is funny and provides a lot of cultural imput which you identified.

As with the Young Guns, Frank and Jesse and other movies, the train across America caused a lot of grief for many people. This movie showed what happened when one got in the way of the railroad.

Excellent job.
